Aluminij has its own seed-plot in which annually is produced over 100.000 pieces of various seedlings for Aluminjs needs but also the needs of the market. As ac contribution to the development of viticulture and fruit growing in Herzegovina, Aluminij plants new grape vines. Recently five thousand new grapevines were planted of the most refined sorts Blatina and Žilavka.
Alongside the grape vines, a significant number of fruit seedlings were planted. Just this spring, the gardens are richer for three thousand apples. In the radius of the factory, a greenhouse has been built for the sowing of spring cultures. Early salads and pepper, tomato, cucumber seedlings and other known agricultures that succeed in this climate have been cultivated in them. The workers of Aluminij consummate salads and vegetables that are cultivated n Aluminijs surroundings, as well. Animals are bred here also, such as fish (carp and trout), sheep, poultry and bees as well as exotic animals (pheasants, peacocks).
