Quality of products and services

The quality of products and services has always been an important factor when making deals and ordering, in the development and preparation of production, supply and manufacturing and deliver and usage of products and services.

Efficient achievement of quality affects on sales increasing through customer satisfaction, the reducing of costs, increasing productivity and coherent functioning of everyone in the organization of the company. These factors contribute to the general development and reputation of the company and society as a whole.

Aluminij d.d. Mostar at the end of 1998 established and certified the quality managing system (QMS), in coherence with the required standards of ISO 9001:1994. A reissuing of that system, in coherence with the required standards of ISO 9001:2000, was executed in the middle of 2002.
By the end of 2003 Aluminij d.d. Mostar established and certified the managing protection of environment system (EMS), in coherence with the required standards of ISO 14001:1996. Aluminij is constantly working on the maintenance and enhancement of these two systems through a unique, integrated managing system (IMS).

As well, systems for managing health protection and work safety is being gradually implemented (in coherence with the required standards of OHSAS 18001:1999) and for social responsibilities (in coherence with the required standards of SA 8000:1997).
QUALITY POLITICS IN ALUMNIJ MOSTAR

Aluminijs products and services must satisfy the requirements, needs and expectations of its customers and other interested parties with which we accomplish all the more customer satisfaction and the satisfaction of other interested parties and an increased part of the market of our products.

Quality politics is a main part of the corporate politics of Aluminij. It is coherent with the development plans of Aluminij, the expectations of current and future customers, the requirements of other interested parties and with requirements given by the standards of ISO 9001:2000.

Quality politics includes the obligation to continuously enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the managing quality system.

In that way we succeed in including all organizational units, every employee, as well as suppliers and partners, in working on creating optimal quality of products and services.

Aluminijs general goals for quality are constantly increasing profit in the company, continuously increasing customer satisfaction and other interested parties, developing the Aluminij, enhancing its reputation, increasing satisfaction, motivation, and dignity of its employees and the economical development of the whole region. These goals are presented in short-term and long-term plans. Aluminijs management board sets out particular quality goals for each business year.

The management board conducts control over efficiency of the functioning of the quality managing system with a constant supervision, monitoring customer service and other interested parties, evaluation of the board, self-evaluation, a comparison with better then ourselves and a planned internal opinion on the quality managing system.
