Aluminij d.d. Mostar is the only company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which owns their own wine cellar. Besides that, Aluminij has 20.000 parentages around the factory, as well as vineyards in Brotnjo, the Čitluk area famous for exquisite wine. The architect Boro Puljić from Mostar projected the wine cellar, and it has a capacity of 40.000 liters. The wine cellar was opened in the year 2001.

In the cellar interior there are barrels made out of quality oak wood with a capacity of 1.500 liters of wine. The wine cellar annually produces from 20.000 to 25.000 liters of high quality wine. Mainly we are talking about the high quality sort Žilavka. In somewhat lesser quantities is produced the wine sort Blatina. Wine is preserved at a temperature of 8 and 10 degrees.

Wine produced in the Aluminij Wine cellar is intended for its own purposes and sales. In the process of making wine are included employees with professional malformations and reduced working capability and they earn their living with this producing.
