Aluminij Winery

Since the company has its own quality vineyards and the Winery, business achievements of Aluminij are often toasted with its superb wines.

Given that Herzegovina has always been famous forits exquisite wines, even enjoyed by different rulersin the past, Aluminij used this long-time experience in order to plant own vineyards and produce its own wines and grape brandy. Every year, we increase our wealth by planting some more grape vine-stocks, of the indigenous grape varieties Žilavka and Blatina and we own more than 65,000 vine-stocks.

In the wine cellar, located within the Aluminij Gardens, we annually produce tens of thousands of liters of the premium wines and a few thousand liters of grape brandy, apple cider and cherry brandy, of the exceptional quality.

The Aluminj Winery, to be more precise a wine cellar, was designed by the Mostar architect Boro Puljic, and it was opened in 2001. In this wine cellar space there are oak barrels and other containers for preparation and maturation of wines and spirits. Our exquisite wines have been stored in here at a constant temperature ranging between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.

The atmosphere of the wine cellar, its woodwork, solid oak furniture, stylish brickwork ceiling, gentle lighting and the overall atmosphere simply cannot leave any of our guests indifferent while they enjoy a glass of good wine at this marvellous space.
