Aluminij d.d., Mostar

When a die casting foundry TMD-AGS d.o.o. from Gradačac joined Aluminium Producers and Processors Association (APPA), and it became its ninth member, another 400 aluminium processing companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina announced their intention to join APPA as well.
In this way the Association becomes a very strong body which gathers about 6,000 employees of those companies which are more than 80 percent export-oriented. The APPA's  goals are to establish efficient cooperation with all government levels in order to initiate and influence   on solutions for numerous accumulated problems  related to aluminium production and processing in the state. The unfortunate fact is that Bosnia and Herzegovinina   does not help and support the strongest branch of its economy, i.e., metal industry.
Among the most urgent issues are: the correction of electricity price which directly influences the price of aluminium and aluminium products, the correction of bank interest rates for credits, heating oil payment, the gasification of the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the legal solutions offering in the fields of customs, taxes, guarantees etc as well as the state support in general. The Association will address all these and many   other issues in an organized manner towards the institutions at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Association was founded by Aluminij d.d. Mostar, Presal Extrusion d.o.o. Široki Brijeg, Feal d.o.o. Široki Brijeg, Fe-Al d.o.o. Mostar, Kapis d.o.o. Tomislavgrad, TT kabeli d.o.o. Široki Brijeg, Alpro a.d. Vlasenica  and  Alloy Wheels d.o.o. Jajce.
