World Leader in Natural Gas "Non-pipe" Technology Visit Aluminij

Possibility for long-term contract with Energtek depending on their final offer

Date:20.8.2010
Aluminij d.d., Mostar
Lev Zaidenberg, director of the Israeli-American company Energtek Inc., accompanied by his associates, visited   Aluminij, where his hosts were  Executive Director for Technical Affairs and Development -Velimir Ćavar, Director of Cast House and Chairman of the Supervisory Board-Željko Boras,  Anode Plant Manager-Ivan Grle  and Management Representative For Energy and Management Systems-Ante Rezić. The Israeli-American guests presented their business, with the intention of establishing long term business relationship.
Energtek is the world leader in supplying natural gas to industrial and commercial consumers (where there is no gas pipelines network), using pipeless natural gas supply bulk transportation solutions. Energtek is licensed for exploration and exploitation of gas resources in   Philippines and Israel (gas and oil pool Sde Helem). Application of non-pipe technology guarantees savings between 20-25% of the current costs for energy, while emissions are reduced  up to 90%. The difference in comparison to the classical method of  gas delivery in pressure containers, lies in the fact that  Energtek has developed a special way of  natural gas compression, which is equal to the amount of gas delivered at 3-4 times lower pressure. In this way capital costs are significantly reduced as well as the subsequent maintenance costs of all gas equipment.
The application of their method in our country would require the construction of gas filling plants and  gas containers filling at the point where there is a gas pipeline system (such as in Sarajevo), then construction of entrance facilities together with the measuring devices at the site of delivery (in Aluminij), continuous delivery of gas by road transportation (tanker trucks) to Aluminij. Energetek is also willing to help with equipment replacement from the fuel-oil  to natural gas operating.
Zaidenberg stressed that they would do  all the preparations, while Aluminij would be obliged to obtain necessary approvals and provide space for the  gas reception facilities.  In accordance with their experience, the investment would be worth in 5-6 months.
Gas deliveries could start in 5-6 months after signing the contract, which is the minimum  period necessary to make all conversions and installations and to obtain the necessary approvals. The contract is long term, usually on five years, and the price of gas would be  linked (in a corresponding percentage)  to the stock exchange price of oil. Experts from Energtek are going to assess the current situation in Aluminij and prepare a valid final offer, accordingly.
