In view of the earlier positive experience and excellent cooperation, students of the second year of the Physical Culture Studies of the University of Mostar visited Aluminij d.d. Mostar within their Kinesiology Recreation Course. They were accompanied by their professor Žarko Bilić, Ph.D. and engineers of Aluminij – Ružica Udovičić, Vedrana Jarak and Davor Ramljak. They made a tour of the company and its facilities observing the working conditions, i.e., the working environment which was the main reason of this organized visit.
The students and their professor Bilić used this visiting time to make an individual assessment whether there is a need to introduce rest breaks during working hours for workers within big factories and their facilities in order to perform short physical exercises. This is one of topics at the Kinesiology Recreation Course.
At the Administration Building the students were welcomed by Jure Muse, Advisor to CEO and Darko Juka from PR Office who presented the guests with short documentary film about Aluminij d.d. Mostar. The visit was concluded within gorgeous Aluminij Gardens where the guests refreshed themselves and witnessed the high standard of environment protection of the Mostar smelter which was awarded in many occasions.
