Established in 1978 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2012, China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC)’s controlling stake is now owned by China National Machinery Industry Corporation. The core business of CMEC is engineering contracting, but as a large international conglomerate, it also extends into trade, investment, R&D and international services. Through years of innovation and development, CMEC became an international brand, with business interests in more than 150 countries and regions across all five continents.
