Bauxite Mines Mostar is established

1969

Bauxite Mines Mostar merged with Energoinvest Sarajevo Focuses on aluminium production

1975

Alumina production starts in the new Alumina Factory

1977

The Alumina factory and Bauxite mines merged to form Aluminij Mostar

1987

Aluminij factory becomes the largest exporter in Bosnia and Herzegovina

1990

Aluminij seperated from Energoinvest Sarajevo, keeping its name Aluminij Mostar

1991

Aluminij has become the leading aluminium producer of Bosnia and Herzegovina

1992

Production at Aluminij stopped, as parts of the factory were destroyed during the war

1995

Extensive efforts of Aluminij employees to restore and reopen the factory

1996

Aluminij signs its first contract after the war

1997

Production of Aluminij is resumed

1999

Strategicaly located, Aluminij Mostar is positioned as a leading European aluminium manufacturer

2002

A comprehensive modernization of Aluminij's production facilities has been completed at a cost of 250 million Euros

2009

With multimilion global deals, Aluminij becomes a major economic growth driver for the region

2020

As part of M.T. Abraham Group, Aluminij Mostar is regaining its position as a leading global aluminium manufacturer
